What to Do While You Are Waiting to Hear Back From PT Schools

You finally got through your application and finished your interview! Congrats!! What a huge milestone that is! You gone through so much, emotionally and mentally to get to this point. So now... it's the waiting game... Maybe everyday you feel like minutes feel like hours and hours feel like days until the day you'll get your results. Rather than basking in your anxiety and thoughts, here are some tip you can do while you are waiting to hear back from your schools!

1. Wait till the deadline they gave you
   1. Usually between 4 weeks to a couple months. You can ask at the end of your interview, “When can I expect a response?” If they do not give you a response by their given deadline, you can reach out to them to follo
2. Continue what you have been doing
   1. Don’t quit what you a currently doing—aide, server, volunteer, etc. I highly recommend you staying with the current position until you find out your acceptance.
      
      
3. Have confidence in yourself!
   1. So you finished the application and did your interview! Whether you did well in the interview or not, or you felt like you could have done more, or you are wrestling with yourself and your anxiety… Have confidence in yourself! Up until this point, you’ve given your best effort for this whole process—taking the best pre-requisites, doing lots of observation hours and clinic, and trying to get the best grades. Trust in yourself that you put in the best efforts and the most work for yourself!
